The mission of the Black Resource Center (BRC) is to provide residents, Black-led nonprofits, Black serving organizations and community based organizations (CBOs) access to tools and resources they need to be successful and make their organizations and community thrive.

The BRC is a one-stop-shop for information related to mental and physical health, financial literacy, youth and senior programs, COVID resources, entrepreneurship, personal and career development. BRC will be a safe place to gather and discuss emerging topics and issues.

Specifically, BRC provides the following resources:

  • Inform, educate, engage and empower Black residents, business owners and entrepreneurs

  • Be a resource for effective outreach campaigns within the Black community

  • Provide an enhanced and coordinated communications network

  • Access to a free, fully equipped Co-working office space and conference room

  • Support Black-led research and data collection, this includes an annual Black & African American Economic Impact Report, equity research and reporting
