Helping Businesses Grow

from dream to reality!

We help entrepreneurs to start, manage, and grow their businesses.

In December 2020, Elite Skills assisted 6 Black-led non-profits in securing $190,000 in Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding. The grantees provided culturally affirming services, such as free mental health counseling, COVID Care Packages, vaccination clinics, healthy living printed guide and videos.  Elite Skills provided assistance in organizing records, securing business license and insurance, writing their grant proposals, identifying resources and registration with the City’s Planet Bid purchasing system.

ELITE SKILLS assisted the grantees with the preparation of their monthly and final grant reports.  A second round of funding is anticipated in 2022 under the federal and local American Recovery Act and ELITE SKILLS, working through the newly created Black Resource Center, will continue to work with Black owned and Black-led small businesses, nonprofits, and organizations.
